The Co-op, which is linked to the famous supermarket chain, sees online training as an attractive option for staff who may be put off by annual fees at traditional universities of £9,000 a year. Gill Bailey, Co-op Legal's head of human resources, told The Law Society Gazette: 'Our new academy provides unique learning and development opportunities for our employees, whilst also supporting the business in developing a talent pipeline.  This will ensure that each and every career path is valued and that development and qualification ambitions can be met.'
