Companies drop premium global firms

A third of the world's biggest companies have cut at least one law firm in the last 12 months, according to research from Acritas.

The proportion is up from 30 per cent in 2012. There is also a move away from 'prestige' firms - and three in every four of the firms which are dropped are described as being 'market-leading, premium global practices', according to the Canadian Lawyer Magazine.
