The base will be run by senior partner Lu Hada who is leaving the practice's head office in Beijing. According to The Lawyer, he is from Mongolia and speaks both Mandarin and Mongolian. The last foreign office which the practice opened was in Moscow. Ulaanbaatar has recently seen several Chinese and other international firms opening up - including Longan from Beijing and Hogan Lovells, DLA Pipper, Allens and Minter Ellison.
