Deloitte sees 7.7pc growth in tax and legal

Big Four accountancy firm Deloitte grew overall at 6.5 per cent to reach worldwide revenues of US34.2b in 2013/14 - with its tax and legal work going up at 7.7 per cent.

Results were unveiled for the year ended 31 May. Deloitte divides its income into five sectors. Consultancy grew faster than the other four teams, putting on 10.3 per cent in the year. Tax and legal was the sector that came next. The traditional core of the business, audit, grew at just 2.5 per cent. Source: Financial Times
