Mr Meeter took over on 1 June and will make the development of a UK business a priority for Deloitte Legal which already operates through 1,300 lawyers in 56 countries. It is mainly focused in Asia, the Americas and the EMEA zone at the moment.

Need for scale

Mr Meeter, who replaces the Canadian Ian Tod as chief executive, said: ‘There’s a definite need for scale and true global coverage. That will be one of my main focus areas for my term. The UK is definitely on the list and then some other things.’ Source: The Lawyer
