Joint ventures

Trade Arabia reports that the new firm was founded by name partner Dr Said Al Mashaikhi and Duane Morris partner Jeffrey Rodwell, who was based in Duane Morris' London office but has now relocated to Muscat to serve as managing director.
Duane Morris has previously expanded its global presence through joint ventures, including a 2010 deal in Singapore - creating Duane Morris & Selvam – followed by a 2011 strategic alliance with Mexico City firm Miranda & Estavillo.
Duane Morris also has offices in London as well as in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, in addition to its 20 US locations.

Business possibilities

Duane Morris chairman and CEO John Soroko commented: ‘Oman's key location and role in international commerce, as well as an affluent population and a modern, open economy, create an abundance of business possibilities.’
