Dubai hails new era after notary law reform

A new law regarding public notaries and other related changes are heralding a change in pace in the Dubai courts, according to the director of the Dubai Courts Department (DCD).

Taresh Al Mansouri, the director general, said: ‘The law is intended to help DCD keep pace with the huge and rapid developments Dubai is witnessing. It will also promote the smart government transformation process, and raise the prominence of the Notary Public e-Services application, as well as contributing to the enhancement of UAE’s competitive potential in the World Bank’s ‘Ease of Doing Business’ report.’ Source: Gulf News
