Ex-Akin exec joins Dechert as COO

The merry-go-round of non-lawyer managers continues apace as James Leary, formerly executive director at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, moves on to Dechert.

Mr Leary’s new Chief Operating Officer role will see him in charge of finance, marketing, HR, IT and operations. He replaces Anthony Licata who left in March to join Morgan Lewis & Bockius as COO.
