An ethics complaint filed in Washington DC about her accused her of having ‘knowingly disclosed client confidences and/or secrets, in that she used client confidences/and or secrets to the disadvantage of GE, and in that she used GE confidences and/or secrets to her own advantage’. She was also sacked from the company. She has said that she was fired because she told a senior colleague that GE was involved in helping some clients avoid tax.
