Twitter: Tim Bratton's vehicle for announcing his leave

Tim Bratton announced he was leaving on Twitter @thelegalbratblawg, saying he was excited to join a legal business which challenged the legal norms. ‘We’ve only seen the start of disruption in the legal services market and I’m very much looking forward to being part of that at LoD.’
He said in a statement: ‘I am fascinated with innovation in the legal sector and engaged LoD lawyers whilst I was inhouse so really understand the benefits to clients.’
Mr Bratton, who worked at the FT for 13 years, will become LoD’s first practice development director. LoD has been providing a flexible placement service for companies wanting to employ lawyers on a contractual basis.
