The office -- which will become becomes the leading Belgian lobbying law firm’s third after Brussels and Berlin -- will target international companies with a presence in the English capital. Lord Plumb will be joined at the UK base by associates Bruno Martins and Albi Alla.

A report from London’s Legal Week suggests the firm is attempting to target US companies and Chinese multinationals with European headquarters in London.
Alber & Geiger managing partner Andreas Geiger told the newspaper: ‘We see both an increased need and demand for EU representation for companies outside of the EU. London is in many cases the EU hub for many US, Chinese, Australian and Indian companies. Therefore, the new office in London will help us capitalise on such opportunities and will give us further scope to expand on the existing client base.’
