The two, once partners in Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton, are alleged to have left without respecting a 90-day notice requirement and without sharing the fees produced from work they did while at the firm. The two left with eight other lawyers from their old practice and have set up a new firm, de Luca Levine. Their old firm has renamed itself Nelson Brown & Co, and has brought the law suit. Another six lawyers in the old firm have set up another law firm - but they are not involved in the lawsuit. In July the old firm was reported to have some 75 lawyers. Source: ABA
