A trader charged in London over allegedly manipulating yen Libor rates has chosen to switch lawyers before his 21 Oct plea hearing. The former UBS AB and Citigroup Inc trader Tom Hayes has replaced Fulcrum Chambers with UK law firm Garstangs Burrows Bussin, according to Bloomberg’s report. Hayes and two former brokers are charged with allegedly conspiring with employees of JP Morgan Chase & Co, Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc, HSBC Holdings Plc, Rabobank Groep, Deutsche Bank AG, Tullett Prebon Plc, ICAP Plc and RP Martin Holdings Ltd over a four-year period.
