GCs prefer dealing with law firms that use flexitime

Legal advisers who work healthy hours appear to be delivering services in a way that is more effective to general counsel, according to a panel discussion organised by the Colorado Bar Association.

A panel discussion among three leading GC saw them agreeing that healthy workings schedules by external laywers helped deliver better legal services. They concluded that 'balanced hours programs create healthier and happier lawyers, and that improves the quality of work they receive from outside counsel in turn'. The counsel included Rob Simmons, assistant GC at Molson-Coors. Source: Law Week online
