Already the managing partner of Greater China and head of the Greater China international arbitration practice, he currently travels regularly to Beijing and Shanghai from a Hong Kong base. He takes over in May for a four-year term. London partner Tim Parkes is to head the commercial litigation practice. He adds this role to his current responsibilities for developing the firm’s offices in Germany and New York.
