Italian labour law firm LABLAW has promoted three senior associates to its partnership, bringing its total partner count to 17.
The new partners are Cristina Baglioni, who is based in the firm’s Rome office, along with Paola Gobbi and Andrea Savoia who are based in Milan.
Ms Baglioni specialises in labour law, industrial relations and employment related litigation, while Ms Gobbi advises clients on contentious employment law matters.
Mr Savoia has expertise in employment law assisting both Italian and multinational businesses on all contractual aspects of the employer/employee relationship, as well as that of financial advisers and commercial agents, and any subsequent litigation arising.

Christian Dargham has jumped from the Paris office of magic circle firm Clifford Chance to join Norton Rose as a partner.
Mr Dargham specialises in litigation and corporate compliance and joins Norton Rose’s growing Paris litigation and dispute resolution team. He has worked on a number of significant cases involving product liability and white collar crime, and also boasts experience in assisting clients in relation to compliance, including the design, draft and implementation of global compliance policies in various fields.

French corporate boutique Lacourte Balas Raquin has rebranded as Lacourte Raquin Tatar following the hires of Serge Tatar and Renaud Rossa from Gide Loyrette Nouel.
According to Top Legal the two partners – who specialise in corporate and M&A law - are joining Lacourt Raquin with several other Gide lawyers.

Oceania

Global law firm Norton Rose has confirmed that Tricia Hobson will take the newly created role of Asia Pacific Head of Insurance.
Ms Hobson has been with the practice as a partner for more than five years. She is a specialist in insurance and reinsurance, with a focus on financial services and construction. She has also acted for major Australian and international financial institutions and their insurers, and has represented them in significant Supreme and Federal Court proceedings.

Ohio-founded global law firm Squire Sanders has announced the promotion of 13 partners and principles across its international network.
The new partners are: Aaron Brogdon (Columbus, litigation), Eric Cassidy (Houston, litigation), Carol Dick (London, pensions), Anne Goodwin (Los Angeles, litigation), Allen Kacenjar (Cleveland, environment) Paul Mann (Leeds, corporate & corporate finance), Supinder Sian (London, labour & employment) and Florian Traub (London, IP & technology)
The new principles are: Patrick Burke (Cleveland, financial services), Gregory Daniels (Columbus, public and infrastructure finance), Robert Nauman (Columbus, healthcare), Jeffrey Wahl (Columbus, corporate & corporate finance) and Gregory Wald (San Francisco, labour & employment).

UK

City law firm RPC has hired SJ Berwin partner Anthony Shatz, adding to a trio of recent hires from Wragge & Co in December 2012 and taking the total number of partners in the team to 13.
Mr Shatz specialises in corporate transactional work with a particular focus on the real estate sector. His background includes extensive experience of working for funds, including listed and unlisted real estate funds.

DLA Piper had lost three partners to HBJ Gateley after they opted against moving to Edinburgh following the firm’s decision to close in Glasgow.
Legal Week reports that the team, led by Scotland restructuring head Yvonne Brady, also included partners Fiona McKerrell and John Gallacher.
Follwing a UK review, DLA announced in January that it would close its Glasgow office by the end of April.
