Brus Chambers was incorporated as a Llimited Liability Company in New Jersey in March and opened its New York head office in May. Branch offices in Washington DC, Missouri and New Jersey employ nine fee-earners each; all the lawyers and paralegals involved are US-qualified.

Managing partner Shrikanth Hathi said that having set up in March 'we have got very good work there. In fact we have got work from law firms as well.’ He says that Brus is concentrating mainly on commercial litigation, international arbitration, documentation, shipping work and some criminal defence work, principally on the white-collar side.
