Indonesian firm seals DLA deal

Indonesian firm Ivan Almaida Baely & Firmansyah (IAB&F) has formed an alliance with DLA Piper as the global firm seeks to make its mark in one of the world's fastest growing economies.

The bells ring for Indonesia Curioso

The two partner Jakarta-based firm services international and domestic companies, investors and state owned enterprises. The new alliance will allow DLA Piper to service its clients directly in Indonesia which currently does not allow foreign firms to practice directly in the country. 

Asian expansion

Managing partner Ivan Baely handles banking and finance matters, debt restructuring, merger & acquisition work, energy & mining, foreign investment and corporate and commercial work. Asia Pacific managing director Bob Charlton told  The Lawyer that the alliance was a ‘key component of our South East Asia strategy, which is led form our regional hub in Singapore.’
