Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
The protests, which will take place for the entire week, are an effort to thwart parliamentary reform shortening trials which currently average around four years, according to Reuters.
The lawyers’ association, QUA, said the decree, which called for mediation to be used to before a trial, was ‘unconstitutional and doomed to fail.’
The Justice Minister Annamaria Cancellieri has criticised the legal profession for attempting to stop the reforms. With 107 lawyers in Parliament, she said: ‘The lawyers, the major lobbies, block our country from becoming an normal one.’
