The raid took place on the unnamed firm in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland. The lawyer's office was searched. Several lead sheets, documents including the identity details of various individuals, were also taken, according to the Jamaica Star. Also taken were a semi-automatic pistol and eight 9mm cartridges. The arrests were made under the Law Reform (fraudulent transaction (Special Provision) Act and the Firearms Act.
