Jeantet opens up in Switzerland

Jeantet Associes is the first French law firm to open up in Switzerland through its launch of a Geneva office.

The Geneva branch will be the firm’s third outside Paris. It will be run by Patrice Lefevre-Pearon, formerly of DLA Piper. The decision was made in response to demand from Swiss clients and from others who want to invest in the country. It will not be practising Swiss law. Jeantet is the law firm representing Christine Lagarde, head of the International Monetary Fund, in the French negligence investigation she is facing. Source: The Lawyer
