New role

The high profile in-house lawyer announced his move on twitter, saying he was looking forward to working in a completely different sector.
Mr Kilroy acted as interim chief executive at Misys when CEO Mike Laurie resigned last year, dealing with a proposed merger with software company Temenos.

New focus

He told his twitter followers that, apart from the listing aspect, his focus would be on IP, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate affairs. He said that the team was ‘very small’ but it would be ‘a chance to build, which should be fun.’ Mr Kilroy, who describes himself as a businessman on his twitter account, said he ‘walked away from other things for this because the content and people were so interesting.’
Genus provides biotechnology solutions for the global agricultural economy breeding animals to improve production and supply the global airy and meat supply chain.
