Lawyer sues on 'Wolf of Wall Street' libel claim

A lawyer is suing Paramount Pictures for U$25m over The Wolf of Wall Street film in which he claims he was libellously portrayed.

Andrew Green was the head of corporate finance in Stratton Oakmont in the 1990s. He says that the character Nicky Koskoff, played in the film by PJ Byrne, is based on him. The suit is said to claim that Mr Green is presented like 'a criminal, drug user, degenerate, depraved, and/or devoid of any morality ethics'. The film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has been nominated for five Oscars. Source: Metro News
