The call comes amidst greater regulation and disclosure obligations and rules of professional conduct and was approved almost unanimously by the House of Delegates, according to the ABA Journal. The organisation said that lawyer-client privilege was necessary as it allowed lawyers to ask questions on ethical matters in confidence.
