Senior lawyers from Trussardi and Loro Piana will join a leading influencer marketing specialist from UPR agency and experts from law firm Bird & Bird to discuss the impact of influencer marketing on the luxury sector at a webinar next week.

Jointly hosted by the Luxury Law Alliance – which is affiliated with The Global Legal Post – and Bird & Bird, Influencer Marketing: Trends, Tips and Opportunities for Luxury Brands takes place on Thursday 25 November.

The panel will feature Sara Citterio, group general counsel at Trussardi, Monica Kristensen, senior legal counsel at Loro Piana, and Suzanne Stal, head of digital at the advertising agency UPR Netherlands.

They will be joined by Bird & Bird lawyers and advertising specialists, London-based partner Craig Giles, and Milan-based counsel Rita Tardiolo.

The web seminar will take place against the background of influencer marketing’s dramatic rise in importance as an advertising channel, with Influencer Marketing Hub’s 2021 Benchmark Report estimating its market value at $13.8bn in 2021 up from $9.7bn in 2020.

The panel will share practical, best-practice tips based on their own experiences, and discuss the importance of building positive relationships with influencers to execute successful marketing campaigns.

The Bird & Bird team will also highlight the key risk areas brands need to be aware of given the inevitable increase in regulatory scrutiny of the channel.

The webinar, which takes place from 3-4pm GMT on 25 November, is exclusively reserved for in-house teams and management in luxury brands. Click here to register.
