A ranking of the 100 best jobs in the US ranks law below nail technicians, maintenance workers and massage therapists.
The list, produced annually by US News and World Report, rates the jobs based on a range of factors from job opportunities, salary expectations and career advancement and fulfilment. According to the Abovethelaw blog, the job of lawyer comes in at 51 on the rankings , a drop from 3st place in 2013, with a below average score for upward mobility and flexibility and a high score for stress levels.
The ABA Journal reports that the top three jobs are software developer, computer systems analyst and dentist.
