The Association has established its 'Justice Entrepreneurs Project' to help match demand for legal jobs with demand for free legal advice from people who cannot afford to pay. Under the scheme, recent law graduates are given office space at a 'minimal rent' for six months. They are also paid US$1,000 a month from a law school with the intention that they start developing their own practices by carrying out pro bono work. The aim is that they will be able to build up a client base in which some people can afford to pay. Source: ABA Journal.
