Research from Verizon finds surprisingly high figures for the number of people who are taken in by fake email messages. IT found that 23% open phishing messages and that 11% click on their particularly dangerous attachments.
Time pressure
Karen E Rubin of Thompson Hine LLP suggests four reasons why lawyers are so vulnerable - that they are hungry for clients, trusting, 'must work efficiently and under time pressure' and because 'we sometimes overestimate our tech skills'.
