Linklaters, a long-term trend-setter in IT legal services, has adopted a new ITSM (IT service management) platform from the assist platform at Axios Systems.

The system is being deployed worldwide and is expected to be set up to support HT, IT and facilities. The Linklaters IT service and process manager Adrian Hubbard is quoted in Computer World UK as saying: 'We made the decision to invest in a new service management toolset to enable us to meet our current and future strategic objectives, replacing our current, highly-customised and outdated legacy solution.  Axios have demonstrated a flexible approach supported by high quality and responsive technical support.' The fruit of some Linklaters IT work is on display at the moment: the firm was called in to search News International emails for evidence in the phone hacking scandal in the UK. The firm was a pioneer in e-discovery and retains a reputation in that area of litigation.
