Madonna excused from jury duty for being a distraction

Madonna was excused early from jury duty in Manhattan after waiting for an hour an a half. Others who were called for jury duty waited upwards of hours.She arrived an hour later than the others waiting for jury duty, and she soon departed after her arrival. Spokesperson David Bookstaver of the New York State Unified Court System told the New York Daily News that Madonna was allowed to leave because her presence was a distraction and there was an ample number of jurors for that day. Madonna was formerly excused from jury duty in May due to a doctor's note. Source: New York Daily News
