A survey of 380 law graduates by Proceed UK found that people who did not study at Oxford or Cambridge University might be put off from applying to the leading law firms. Three times as many graduates are applying to regional and niche firms as are applying to the top five. David Press of Proceed said: 'It’s important to ensure that our top law firms contain not only the best but also the most diverse graduates. Candidates need to feel that they can apply to the top legal sector businesses no matter what background they have come from, or which university they attended.' Source: SourceWire
