LexisNexis, in collaboration with think-tank Atlantic Council, has surveyed the organisations to see if they would support its 'Rule of Law Now' campaign. Results of the survey of managing partners and senior general counsel will be discussed at a conference, attended by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, on 19 September in New York. 

Protects global business

'Advancing the rule of law is an imperative requirement in serving the greater good—but it also protects and supports the goals of global business,' said Mike Walsh, chief exec of LexisNexis Legal & Professional, according to HeraldOnline. Main concerns discussed in the survey and research include corruption, compliance, consistency, intellectual property and enforcement.
