Microsoft Assistant GC included in 'most influential' black lawyers listing

A magazine focusing on powerful Afro-Americans, Savoy, has highlighted Bruce Jackson as one of the US's most influential black lawyers.

Microsoft brings on a new privacy lawyer Ken Wolter

As Assistant General Counsel for Microsoft's East Region Enterprise & Partner Group, Mr Jackson is involved in advancing $4b of regional sales by negotiating licensing and contracts, supporting the transition of large business to the Cloud and working on government affairs and corporate citizenship. He has a particular focus on the New York area. 

Transformative power

Mr Jackson has been involved in the Microsoft diversity programme since it established a committee to deal with the area in 2001. He said: 'Diversity in leadership has a transformative power because it promotes collaboration, innovation and contributions from every corner of the globe.' Source: Virtual Strategy
