Midsize firms win work from large ones

In the past three years medium-sized US law practices have seen their share of the market rise from 22 to 41 per cent, according to a study from CounselLink.

Over the same period, large firms - those with 750 lawyers or more - have seen their marketshare fall from 26 to 22 per cent. The analysis is based on a scrutiny of law firm billings worth US$10 billion, according to theBoston Business Journal.
