Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
The new hires include Felicia Tan, who joins from A&G as a director of the Ince Law Alliance Litigation Team, and litigation and arbitration lawyer Moses Lin, who joins as a partner from Hill Dickinson. Junior associates Justin Seet and Samantha Ch’ng also join the team to offer support on non-contentious matters.
Additionally, Edgar Chin has been appointed joint managing director alongside shipping specialist Bill Ricquier with immediate effect. Mr Chin has been at Incisive team since 2014 and previously worked as a claims director at an International Group P&I Club.
High-profile transactions
Over the past two years, the team has advised on the Singapore law aspects of high profile transactions including advising the lenders on the BW Pavilion LNG financing and advising Oro Negro as issuer of the largest high yield bond (US$725m) ever issued in the Norwegian market.
Moving away
Last year, Ince lost Mohan Subbaraman, head of Incisive Law, and Richard Lovell, managing partner of its Singapore office, to Reed Smith. Martin David, formerly Ince's Asia-Pacific energy head, has also left, joining Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow.
