New top 25 firm created in Wragge Lawrence Graham merger

The UK firms of London-based Lawrence Graham and Wragge from Birmingham are to merge to create a 770-lawyer practice just outside the top 20.

Wragge Lawrence Graham will have a joint turnover of £171m in ten offices worldwide, including Dubai and Guangzhou in China, when the merger takes place officially in April 2014. The Wragges managing partner elect, David Fennell, will be the chief executive of the joint firm with Lawrence Graham partners in the roles of senior partner and chairman. 

Top AIM firm

The joint enterprise will be the top ranked UK law firm advising on the junior AIM (alternative investment market) stock exchange. Lawrence Graham clients include HSBC and Legal & General. Source: Evening Standard
