Wragge & Co, the Birmingham-based, 27th largest UK firm, has long wanted a merger which would strengthen its presence in the capital. Lawrence Graham, with its base in the city of London, has dropped outside the top 50 in the last few, difficult years. Together the firms would have a revenue of some £170m. Andrew Witts, senior partner of Lawrence Graham, told Legal Business: 'We have known the Wragge & Co senior management team for many years and we have always been very impressed by the passion that they have for their business, their people and their clients.
