An investigation by the Department of New York Department of Investigation found that the two - Kumar Rao and Ryan Napoli - had taken part in the video and let the offices of their employer, the Bronx Defenders - be used, despite knowing of the violence of the lyrics.

Mr Rao has said he is 'heartbroken' and that he regrets his involvement. The video includes images of guns being held to the head of a police officer. It was released in December.
