NI judge on the tail of Snoop Dogg

US rapper Snoop Dogg has come under attack from a Northern Irish judge. The high profile performer was criticised by Judge Barney McElholm as he sentenced a woman who punched a police officer following one of Snoop Dogg's concerts in Derry last October. Judge McElholm called the rapper a ‘misogynist wretch’ and said of the incident: 'Despite the bad behaviour espoused by his lyrics there was no excuse for this.Why any woman would want to go to a concert to listen to this misogynist wretch escapes me. Why he was allowed into the country in the first place is another matter.’
