This means that NQs at the firm will see their salaries jump from £100,000 to a mildly mind-blowing £115,000. The figure rises to £120,750 for lawyers with one year of post-qualification experience and reaches a maximum of £172,500 for 4PQE lawyers.
Hardly trailing the pack
The figure for NQs is less than the £124,000 they receive at Latham & Watkins and the New York rate of £125,000 they walk away with at Kirkland & Ellis’ London office, though it is slightly more than the £105,000 NQs make at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton following its 9 per cent pay rise for associates.
