During his tenure, Mr Stewart – who was Olswang's managing partner since 2007 – has overseen several overseas office openings, including Singapore last year, Paris and Munich in 2011 and Madrid in 2010.
Increased specialisation
According to a statement by the firm, revenues have increased by 19 per cent since 2010 and profit per equity partner by 26 per cent.
Mr Stewart commented: ‘The next three years will provide us with increased opportunities to grow and transform the firm in an ever-changing global market place that demands increased specialisation.’
Mark Devereux, senior partner at Olswang, added: ‘The overwhelming vote in a high turnout poll demonstrates the partners' confidence in David's abilities.’
