Osborne Clarke moves to build Asian network

The 18-office European and US practice Osborne Clarke is setting up a best friend relationship with BTG Legal in India, run by a former lawyer in the firm.

Prashant Mara, formerly co-head of the Osborne Clarke India Group, set up BTG after he left the Cologne office of his old firm in February this year. Simon Beswick, CEO of Osborne Clarke, said: ‘Over the next few months we will be looking to broaden our Asian offering and build our international practice in the continent.’ Source: Osborne Clarke
