Data released this week shows that revenue at Osborne Clarke UK cracked the £100m mark for the first time in fiscal-2016, lifting from £96.5m to £112.9m over the course of the year. Meanwhile, the firm’s global turnover has shot up 23 per cent to €263.3m (£186.8m) on the back of a rapid global expansion which has seen office openings in Paris, Amsterdam, New York and San Francisco in the last 12 months, as well as the formalisation of the Osborne Clarke’s association with Hong Kong firm Koh Vass & Co.
Key sectors lead
More than 90 per cent of the Osborne Clarke’s income for the last financial year has been rooted in the firm’ core sectors, including digital business, renewables and financial services. ‘We’ve grown as we’re now the recognized firm in these spaces,’ commented Osborne Clarke UK managing partner Ray Berg to The Lawyer.
Steady growth
The firm’s latest performance results continue a string of double-digit gains over the last few years. In fiscal-2015, Osborne Clarke reported a 15 per cent lift in global revenue to €195m after a stellar 26 per cent spike in global turnover to €142m the previous year.
