Reports surfaced late last week that Pinsent Masons is considering launching a new office in Dublin in the wake of Britain’s vote to leave the European Union. It’s not clear whether the firm would look to set up a presence on its own steam or via a tie-up with one of its existing partner firms in the country. However, it has now come to light that the firm has instructed a Dublin commercial property agent to find 10,000 square feet of office space in the city. Pinsents currently has 21 offices throughout Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region, including an existing office in Belfast. ‘We have a market-leading Northern Ireland presence which naturally lends itself to elements of cross-border work and a number of important relationships in the Republic of Ireland,’ said a spokesperson for the firm.
