A partners meeting had been scheduled for mid-December among the Maddocks partners and the meeting could have gone to a vote. However, it emerged that support was far weaker than the firm would need to go ahead. One change did go ahead, however, when David Rennick, Maddocks CEO, left the firm in order to work with Pinsents on its Australian development. Pinsent is planning to open offices in 2014.
