Three of the new group are to become partners in King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) - Simon Burson and Jeremy Brooks (both partners in Eversheds) and George Burrha (who was a senior associate at Eversheds).

The KWM strategy on property is to focus on structured, high-end real estate. This was the reason that KWM recruited the previous three partners from the Eversheds fold - William Naunton (former Eversheds head of international real estate), Clive Jones and Cornelius Medvei.
