Quarter of UK top 250 consider external investors

Nearly one in four of the larger tier of practices are considering seeking external investment - with many thinking of raising equity of between £5m and £20m this way.

These statistics are part of research carried out by accountant Smith & Williamson in a survey to which 96 firms responded.
