Scottish independence not on the radar for Global GCs

Despite hysteria from the British Government, the prospect of Scottish independence is not high on the agenda for global corporates.

Only ten per cent of legal departments surveyed have taken steps to assess legal risk if Scotland leaves the UK despite the fact that nearly half those surveyed say their company does business in Scotland. Nearly one in three (31 per cent) say they don’t know if their company will be impacted whilst 16 per cent say there will be an impact.
