The couple were on a cruise - for which they had bought tickets at the last minute - when they decided to visit the Bardo museum. They were there when terrorist gunmen attacked on Wednesday. Sally Adey, a retired company and commercial solicitor from Shropshire, was one of at least 23 people who were shot and killed in the attack. Her husband, Rob, a Birmingham-based residential and commercial property partner at Shakespeares, is thought to be physically unharmed and has been receiving support from the British Consul in Tunis.
Devastated
Julia Holden, a personal injury partner in Shakespeares and a friend of the family, said: 'The family are devastated by her loss. They are also saddened for others who have lost people they love, and for those who have been hurt.' Shakespeares is one of the largest regional law firms in the UK, ranking second by size in the Midlands. Before retiring, Mrs Adey had worked in various locations in the area - including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth and Telford - and had been involved in administration and HR as well as company commercial.

A spokesman for the cruise company said: 'MSC Cruises can confirm that British passenger, Sally Adey, was tragically killed in yesterday’s terrorist atrocity in Tunis.
