Peter Rees QC left his post as Royal Dutch Shell's legal director to join Thirty Nine Essex Street chambers.

Rees had been the legal head of Shell since 2011 until he suddenly left the oil giant in January of this year. In his new position, Rees will specialize in international commercial arbitration, as he has extensive experience in arbitration. Source: The Lawyer
